But the industry is also facing significant challenges and challenges ahead.
The solar panel market is a global one, and the biggest impact is expected in emerging markets, where solar panels are still a small percentage of the total market.
In Australia, there are now a total of more than 1,000 solar energy projects on the ground, with most in remote areas.

The report said that while some projects were being delivered in the “near term” and others were “in the early stages of delivery”, “the rapid growth in the solar industry and the rapid adoption of the technology have resulted in the cost per watt and kilowatt hour (kWh) of solar photovoltaic systems falling dramatically over the last year.”
The cheapest solar system in Australia is a $300,000 “solar farm”, which is a typical rooftop solar system with solar panels installed at the base.
The cost per kWh of that system is expected rise to $600 by 2020.
That system costs just $1,000 per month, but the $400 per month solar farm will be about 50 times more expensive than a traditional battery system.

The farm is expected, and can expect, to be installed in 2021.
It will be connected to the grid using a small solar panel that runs through a solar array, with a capacity of about 10MW.
Bentleigh is one of the suburbs that has experienced the fastest growth in solar panels over the past decade.
There have been more than 500 new solar farms across the area in the past five years, and Bentleigan is one such area.
There is a lot of potential in Bentlegan.
The town has more than 400,000 square metres of green space, and a large area of farmland.
Bentley is another nearby suburb that has seen the fastest uptake in solar installations, with more than 100 solar farms in the last five years.
The community is also home to a large manufacturing facility, and has been a leading producer of solar modules for the Australian Solar Industries Association.

Bought off for the same price as a traditional electricity grid, Bentley is the cheapest of the solar farms, but it will be cheaper than a typical grid system by 2020.(Anecdotal evidence: Solar panel prices are higher in remote communities than in central Australia.)
“Solar farms are very much on the rise and there’s very much a market opportunity for the future,” said Michael Tinkler, chief executive of Clean Energy Queensland.
“It’s also going to have a significant impact on the way in which the power grid operates, the transmission grid operates and so on.”

In the last six months, the state has invested more than $200 million into renewable energy projects, and Solar Power Australia estimates that Queensland will have more solar energy installed than any other state by 2020, with solar power generating 20 per cent of the power demand in the state.
The Queensland government expects the new solar farm to provide about 5 per cent per year of power in the electricity network, with power from solar panels being more than enough to power the entire state for the foreseeable future.(
